Online Advertising Calculator
AdsBay Auctions, Buy and Sell your Ad Space has a free javascript online calculator to estimate the value of adspace on your website.
Yesterday I ran this Website (The Robin-Ann.com Web & World) and came up with a figure over $8.00/month for a sitewide graphic based ad pretty much anywhere on the page along with 10+ ads and I used Technology as the target market. Today I'm getting $0.00 figures but I'm not convinced so I'm giving it another few tries.
Okay, the new figure is up to $7.88/month - a number I saw yesterday in addition to the eight dollar figure. I'm going to run some additional tests on other sites I manage to see what other types of revenue I can expect.
Even though this is the third generation of the calculator, I think they are still working out the bugs because yesterday I ran into some php errors and timeouts similar to server overload, but that happens on the best of sites so no points lost in my book.
This calculator will be a good place to direct anyone wishing to advertise on my site, and your site too! I haven't seen anying like this anywhere else on the web and it seems like (they claim) it really works! Hmmmm, I'd think the figure would be higher but I don't think that is thier fault... ;-) + *smirk*
While I'm on this tangent I started thinking about my site and the links I have positioned in obvious and conspicuous places. They are there of course for me to be able to access my 'toys' easily but this calculator has got me to thinking... I 'should' be getting paid by Blogger, Technorati, MyBlogLog and Microsoft! ...I have some text links too but I haven't given those the cost analysis yet. Needless to say - I haven't seen any checks from any of them, but the free services they provide me I think more than make up the difference.
The calculator link is Adsbay's Link & Ad Price Calculator. You can read more on thier blog too. Even if it's just to satisfy your own curiosity -- I'd suggest you give it a try :)! I hope you make a million!

Hey there, fantastic site! I love the layout and design.
BTW - in some of those pictures you look like a young (and more cute) Celine Dion. Sorry to be offtopic ;)
Best wishes,
Anita
Thank you Anita! Your compliments inflated my ego a few good points ;-)
I'm glad you like the layout -- It took a while to make it look good in MSIE & Mozilla.
I've gone through at least two other home-page designs. Somday I'll check my old Storage drives and list them for fun... I experimented a lot and there are many widgets for webmasters within them.
Feel free to come back anytime!
